Prensado means a lot to me and to the history of Alec Bradley. Rolled at the Raices Cubanas (Cuban Roots) factory, Prensado was first created to pay homage to Cuban cigar-making traditions by rolling the «entuba-do» filler, triple capping the head and box by pressing on the finished cigar. Blended with a corojo grown on property in the Trojes region of Honduras, Prensado would eventually be named Cigar Aficionado «Cigar of the Year», propelling Alec Bradley's trajectory in cigar culture much faster than I had anticipated.
