Introduced in 2008, the Partagás E Series surprises with its toro format (E No. 2 at 152×52 mm), a first for the brand, aimed at generous cigar lovers. Designed to offer high aromatic intensity, this line uses a Corojo wrapper from the vegas finas of Vuelta Abajo, combined with a long-filler ligero-rich sub-cape and tripa, fermented in two stages and then aged for twenty-four months. The entirely manual rolling process guarantees a clean draw and regular combustion, revealing notes of weathered leather, roasted coffee and bitter chocolate from the very first whiffs, accented by a subtle hint of black pepper.
The E Series is distinguished by its medium-full to full-bodied structure, offering a dynamic aromatic progression: the beginning of the cigar presents controlled power, while the last third evolves towards aromas of damp earth and sweet spices, for a long, structured finish. Packaged in boxes of ten adorned with a red and gold ring, these cigars embody the bold spirit and uncompromising craftsmanship of Partagás.
