Since 2000, the Edición Limitada de Partagás series has featured new or updated formats from the oldest varetas of Vuelta Abajo's vegas finas. After conventional fermentation, the leaves undergo an extended ageing period of twenty-four months in a humid cellar, before being assembled by hand in the Homero Díaz factory. The result, presented in numbered tins adorned with a black and gold ring marking the year of edition, embodies exclusivity and rarity.
Among the most memorable launches are the Serie P No. 2 (2008)an elegant format that reveals notes of damp earth, cocoa and sweet spices, and the Virtuoso No. 1 (2022)A robust extra with controlled power, combining weathered leather and roasted coffee. Whatever the format, these limited editions offer a medium-full to full-bodied experience, with a regular burn and a straightforward draw, testifying to the expertise and consistency of Partagás know-how.
