Alan Rubin's sons, Alec and Bradley grew up in the cigar industry, unlike their father, Alan Rubin, who came from a bakery background. He followed his passion and started Alec Bradley Cigar Co. Under his guidance, they learned to appreciate the cigar tradition (the history, the blend, the farming, the social significance) years before they took their first puff. When they reached adulthood, they experienced their father's love of tobacco and decided to follow in his footsteps.

Alec has held various positions at Alec Bradley for over 3 years. Bradley joined the company full-time just over two years ago. They both knew that one day they would join Alec Bradley Cigar Co. as "second-generation cigar makers".
