In 1996, Ralph knew next to nothing about cigars. except where to cut it and where to light it! Nevertheless, it was his greatest passion, and he decided to devote his life to it by creating his own company: the Alec Bradley Cigar Company.

Through all the ups and downs of the young company, its aim has always been to make cigars that aficionados enjoy. No «arrogant» remarks such as «We make the best cigars»,...etc. On the contrary, a real openness to terroirs and a motivation to create balanced blends with different personalities drives him to «métisser» cigars. Their composition includes tobaccos from different origins, mainly Honduras, but also from the Dominican Republic and, of course, Nicaragua.

In 1998, the cigar boom in the USA was coming to an end, and many companies were struggling to survive. Alec and Ralph decided to join forces and created their first cigar together: «L'Occidental Reserve». They had their answer, and realized that their combined skills would enable them to achieve a quality that offered them a future: making cigars that they and other cigar aficionados enjoyed.

A modest and open approach! The result? Cigars that are interesting, to say the least. Nuanced personalities and blends ranging from simple and light to aromatic and full-bodied. All you have to do is try.
