Introduced in the 1930s under the name «Le Hoyo de Tainos», the range Le Hoyo was rebranded in the 1990s to become one of the flagships of the Hoyo de Monterrey brand. It comprises six formats - Hoyo de San Juan, Hoyo de Rio Seco, Hoyo de San Juan, Hoyo de Epicure, Hoyo de San Juan y Martinez and Hoyo de Padron - ranging from the slender panetela to the generous toro. All the leaves are grown in the Vuelta Abajo valley and aged for twenty-four months after double fermentation.

Le Hoyo cigars are distinguished by their medium-light profile, with delicate aromas of acacia honey, white flowers and citrus zest, supported by a hint of white pepper in retro-olfaction. Hand-rolling in the old Partagás factory ensures healthy combustion and a silky draught, while preserving the blend's finesse.
