Cigars La Galera Maduro Vitola are composed of a San Andrès wrapper leaf from Mexico, a Piloto Cubano wrapper grown in the Dominican Republic, and a filler made from Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. La Galera Maduro Vitola cigars are packaged in boxes of 20.
The Maduro line from La Galera comes in 7 different modules. The La Galera Maduro Vitola N° 1 is the smallest cigar in the line, a robusto measuring 8.25 cm in length and 19.81 mm in diameter. The smoking time of the Vitola N° 1 is around 30 minutes.
The aromatic palette begins with notes of cocoa, and in the second third moves on to more woody, spicy flavors with a touch of leather. The finish is quite creamy. La Galera's Maduro line offers well-balanced, medium-bodied cigars with plenty of flavor.
La Galera's Maduro line is produced at the Palma tabacalera of Mr. Jose Arnaldo Blanco, better known as "Jochy" Blanco, in the town of Tamboril on the outskirts of the cigar capital Santiago de los caballeros in the Dominican Republic.
