Like Chapter One, Le Flor Dominicana Capitulo II is a 6 1/2 x 58 Chisel and is sold in boxes of 10, but the blend changes radically, using a Nicaraguan Colorado cape in place of Chapter One's broadleaf, an Ecuadorian habano sous-cape and Dominican Republic tripe.
The name Capitulo II was used instead of chapter two to avoid a conflict with chapter two of the Casa Miranda, released in 2013. The La Flor Dominicana Capitulo II cigar strikes an interesting pose with a dark brown, slightly reddish wrapper that's smooth to the touch and contains a little oil. There's a noticeable box pressed and the Chisel cap gives an interesting look, as always. The aroma of the wrapper is a combination of damp earth, leather and spice, while the cold draw brings a strong raisin sweetness with cedar, earth and pepper.
