The resulting module is called a "toro". Approximate smoking time is 92 minutes. Drawdowns are pleasant and combustion progresses with great regularity. The cigar's heavy stature produces smoke that is not very hot.
Davidoff's Tabadom factory in the Dominican Republic produces The Griffins Toro cigars. This long-filler cigar is made entirely by hand. The rollers use Dominican tobacco leaves (a variety known as Santo-Domingo), which they combine with Connecticut Shade leaves from Ecuador to make the wrapper. The wrapper is colorado claro (golden brown).
Dominican tobacco from the Cibao Valley. The Griffins Toro has a mild-medium strength. As for its aromatic signature, it has the particularity of remaining unchanged during tasting, both in variety and intensity. In other words, during tasting, aromas develop simultaneously and with the same intensity. There is therefore no complexity.
This cigar releases a creamy smoke loaded with spicy and sweet notes. A hint of hazelnut comes through.
