The cigar Ashton ESG 24 Year Perfecto is the latest and probably the last in the Ashton ESG line, meaning Estate Sun Grown. It's a perfecto cigar, meaning it's fairly tapered at the foot and head, and wider in the middle.
The Ashton ESG 24 Year Perfecto cigar measures 168 mm in length with a diameter of 19.05 mm. Smoking time is approximately 75 minutes. Ashton 24 Perfecto cigars are available in boxes of 25.
When tasting the ESG cigar, the first puffs deliver woody and coffee notes, then move on to a spicier side with almond aromas and the finish gives us toffee flavors. The Ashton ESG line is the fruit of a collaboration between Robert Levyn and Carlos Fuente jr. to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ashton cigars.
The Ashton ESG 24 year perfecto cigar is a Dominican puro, which means that all the tobaccos used in its manufacture - wrapper, binder and filler - come from the Dominican Republic. The wrapper leaf comes from the Chateau de la Fuente plantation, and is so rare that Ashton ESG cigars are produced in very limited quantities.
There are 4 other modules in this Ashton ESG line: the 20 Year Churchill, the 21 Year Robusto, the 22 Year Figurado and the 23 Year Toro.
