It is distinguished by its length of 194.4 mm and its diameter of 19.4 mm. These dimensions are at the origin of its caliber 49. Tasting a Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro takes between 60 and 90 minutes. As a strong cigar, it is particularly suited to lovers of strong Habanos and experienced smokers.
Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro cigars are made entirely by hand. This is a requirement for all cigars with premium status. Furthermore, this is a long filler cigar, meaning that only whole leaves are used to make the filler. Whether for the filler, wrapper or binder, the tobacco used comes from La Vuelta Abajo plantations.
The puro is very well made. It displays great elegance with meticulous detailing. In particular, the compactness is excellent, giving a firm vitola perfect for smoke circulation. When tasted, these smokes release a cocoa aroma, a nutty taste and the flavor of almonds. The palate also recognizes a hint of coffee. The high quality of Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro is attested to by Cigar Aficionado magazine, which awarded it a score of 92/100.
