Le Hoyo De Monterrey Hermosos No.4 Anejados had the time to age between 5 and 8 years in the Habanos cellars before going on sale.
As soon as it's lit, this vitola already conveys its potential, the years of cellaring having given it a very particular roundness and softness. Small notes of almond and walnut sharpen the palate on lighting. The sweetness and complexity are there, while the ammonia has taken a back seat over the years.
The second third is as creamy as ever, but with more woody notes. The finish clearly gains in strength, with peppery notes settling into the aromatic range of this marvelous vitola. A surprising cigar to be savored without delay.
