The Línea Retro was announced at the end of 2017 by Habanos S.A, and is now enriched by a third cigar: the H. Upmann Regalías. The latter joins the Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and the Partagás Capitols.
The H. Upmann Regalías has long been part of the H. Upmann catalog. It was introduced before 1960. However, before being rolled in the "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" tradition, it was machine-made until 2002.
Carefully arranged in an aluminum case with a "retro" look, inspired by the original pocket cigar holders so popular in the 1970s, Regalías are, like Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and Partagás Capitols, 16.53 mm (42) x 129 mm Petit Coronas, a vitola still widely used by Habanos brands.
In fact, when announcing the launch of Línea Retro, Habanos S.A. declared that this format was "probably the most popular format in the history of Habanos". With Línea Retro, the H. Upmann brand offers new packaging for its Regalías, which until now has only been available in boxes of 25 cigars.
Visit H. Upmann Regalías is a Petit Corona cigar that takes about 30 minutes to savour.
