The H. Upmann Petit Coronas is a puro with a length of 129 mm, a diameter of 16.7 mm (Calibre 42) and a burn time of almost 25 minutes.
Combustibility is uniform and the draw is easy. This Habano is made exclusively by hand, and its filler includes only whole tobacco leaves (long filler cigar). The tobacco used to make the filler, binder and wrapper comes from crops grown in the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba's Pinard del Rio province. This is where the world's finest tobacco is grown.
On the palate, the H. Upmann Petit Coronas cigar is medium-bodied, with a moderate intensity and a limited range of aromas. The still-cold vitola gives off a mixture of barnyard and cedar aromas. The first third has an earthy aroma and a spicy taste. The 2nd third begins with a light caramel note that intensifies as we approach the final third. The cigar ends with a complex cocktail of aromas, including the scents of the 1st and 2nd thirds. This Habano is therefore equally suited to beginners, occasional smokers and, of course, connoisseurs.
