Andorra has just received its latest regional edition: the El Rey Del Mundo Petit Cayo Edición Regional Andorra 2018!
Andorra may be one of Europe's smallest sovereign states, but it stands out for the number of regional editions it has - 8 - making it one of the countries with the most! However, this is the first time that the El Rey del Mundo brand has been chosen!
The module is the same as that chosen by the UK in 2009 with the El Rey del Mundo Epoch Choice. It's a Petit Edmundo (52 x 110 mm), otherwise known as Petit Robusto. A vitola that has undoubtedly already won over Andorran aficionados, as it was already used in 2013 by Ramón Allones for a previous regional edition: the Petit Allones.
The only two brands to have included it in their regular catalog are Montecristo and Vegueros, with the Petit Edmundo and Entretiempos respectively.
Production of Petit Cayo is limited to 2,400 individually numbered boxes of 25 cigars for the Andorran market.
El Rey del Mundo cigars are now produced alongside Romeo Y Julieta and Saint Luis Rey cigars at the Briones Montoto factory in Havana. The regular catalog consists of two cigars (The El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme (25) and the El Rey Del Mundo Half Cup (25)), with a light taste and subtle aromas that delicate palates will appreciate. These are rolled "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" with a long filler made from tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region.
