TASTING NOTE

Color : A beautiful golden caramel color characterizes this V.S.O.P.
Nose : We find both the dry, smoky, almost toasty woody notes of the oak barrel, so typical of JM. But there are also hints of tobacco, honeyed blond tobacco and refined cigar. The nose is particularly complex, with notes of sugar with accents of spice, licorice, sugarcane honey, coffee, brown caramel, caramel-pistachio, coconut bars...
Mouth : notes of coconut milk can be discerned, underpinning the smoky woody notes and all the toasty notes. A subtle balance is struck with the spices of cane sugar (cinnamon, ginger and clove) and roasted coffee. This rum can be enjoyed with coffee, or as an aperitif with cane sugar syrup and a few ice cubes.
