Description
L’un des rhums les plus célèbres de l’Ile Maurice est le Arcane Extraroma. Semblable au Rhum Agricole de la Martinique et de la Guadeloupe, le rhum Arcane Extraroma Grand Amber n’est pas fabriqué à partir de mélasse, mais de jus de canne à sucre fraîchement pressé, puis fermenté. Le rhum fabriqué à partir de jus de canne à sucre est généralement plus fruité que les rhums de mélasse, qui représentent environ 90% du marché. Le stockage de 12 ans a lieu selon le processus Solera, qui est également utilisé dans la production de sherry et de brandy.
