This very old Cognac Grosperrin Borderies No. 28 was bought from the widow, almost a hundred years old, of a man who died several years ago. Since then, the eaux-de-vie have belonged to the undivided family, consisting of his widow and several children. This family of winegrowers has lived in the village of Burie since 1930, in the very heart of the Borderies region. It was then that the father of the deceased bought the property with his stock.
Today, the estate is run by his grandson, who farms some 30 hectares on two small estates, renowned for the high quality of their eaux-de-vie. This is a very rare lot, which could have belonged to the Trésors range, had it not been aged in such a dry cellar, giving it great distinction and charm, but keeping the degree at an even higher level, reserving it for lovers of powerful spirits. It is presented brut de fût.
