The Padron Anniversary 1926 40th Anniversary Torpedo Natural is a very limited edition cigar. which has received the industry's highest honors. Some even say that the Padron 40th Torpedo could be the best cigar ever made by Padron. In 2004, it was awarded "Cigar of the Year" by Cigar Aficionado magazine. and regularly obtains 93 points. This full-bodied cigar combines complexity, balance and flavor. It is hand-crafted with 5-year-old Cuban tobacco. each band is engraved with a serial number.
Their taste is smooth, complex and balanced, with rich impressions of espresso, cocoa and cream. Each Padron 1926 torpedo, 40th anniversary, measures 171.45 mm long with a caliber of 54 (diameter 21.25 mm). 20 cigars are hand-packed in a box.
The Padron Anniversary 1926 series was created in 2002 to commemorate Jose Orlando Padron's 75th birthday. This 40th anniversary torpedo is the crème de la crème. All the tobacco used in this range is aged for five years. The fermented tobacco is then blended to create an exceptionally smooth, complex, balanced and full-bodied flavor.
The Padron 1926 Annivesary Series is a pressed cigar in a flawless box. It is balanced yet complex. Annual production of this cigar is limited to 100,000 cigars.
