Le Fuente Fuente Opus X Angel's Share PerfecXion X is a cigar we've been waiting for.

One of the jewels of the cigar industry, a new variation on the legendary Fuente Fuente Opus X with the "Angel's Share".

This expression is used in the wine and spirits industry. During the production process, these noble products are «aged» in barrels. During this sometimes lengthy period (particularly for spirits), a natural loss due to evaporation reduces the volume of the contents. This «lost» part is called «the angels» share". In 2012, the Fuente factory suffered a terrible fire during which they lost a lot of valuable tobacco. In fact, the warehouses that burned down contained tobacco that had been stored since the fifties, or even the forties!

The Fuente family treasured them with the intention of using them to commemorate their 100th anniversary. Unfortunately, fate decided otherwise, as fire consumed the bulk of these reserves. This event upset and deeply saddened the Fuente family - but that's where the «Angel's Share» come from. Carlito felt that the Angels who enjoyed the exceptional aromas of his precious tobaccos would in return bring their blessings to the family's future endeavours - hence the very special and personal name.
