Visit Romeo y Julieta n°1 Tubos is a Cremas, a slightly less common module measuring 140 mm in length and 15.87 mm in diameter. A supple, well-balanced cigar, it is perfectly suited to after lunch or a short afternoon break, when a 30-40 minute break can be allowed.
With its delicate aromas and notes of exotic wood and roasted hazelnuts, it goes perfectly with a strong espresso and a grand cru dark chocolate.
This cigar is available in boxes of 10 cigars and boxes of 25 cigars, as well as in boxes of 3 cigars and 5×3 cigars.
The Romeo y Julieta brand was founded in Havana in 1875 by two Spaniards, Inocensio Alvarez Rodriguez and José Manin Garcia. Thirty years later, the factory was taken over by José Rodriguez, known as «Don Pepin», who developed the brand considerably, particularly in export markets, going so far as to buy the Capuletà Palace in Verona, where he set up a cigar store. Until the Second World War, Romeo y Julieta was distinguished by its production of «figurados», cigars rolled to a point at both ends, and the personalization of the ring, so that anyone could have cigars made in his or her name.
Today, Romeo y Julieta is the second most widely distributed Cuban brand in the world, behind Montecristo.
