Flor De Selva Cigars
Honduras now has two major cigar terroirs: “Copan” around Santa Rosa de Copan and “el Paraiso” around Danli. Maya Selva created the Flor de Selva brand in 1995 and introduced France to Honduras, where, unlike Germany, it was almost unknown.
She then makes amateurs discover her cigars, the organoleptic register of which then seems to be halfway between Dominican sweetness and Cuban power. They are easy to smoke, aromatic without being anesthetic. Flor de Selva employs 3000 people.
A statistical calculation has also estimated that a tobacco leaf, before the box went on sale, went through 370 pairs of hands. Impossible to replace the touch and the eye of those who select and mix the leaves; their rigor assures us the subtlety of the assemblies. Magic moment when each module acquires its personality.
