Camacho Cigars

Camacho cigars have their origins in the roots of their creator: Simon Camacho from Cuba.

Founded in 1961, the brand was first established in Florida, where the strong Cuban community was strong. During this period, much of the tobacco came from Nicaragua. With a good quality of production and particular flavors, the brand of cigars successfully established itself on the American and international market.

Five years after the death of founder Simon Camacho (1990), the brand was sold to the Eiroa family, a large Cuban family exiled since the revolution. The Eiroa family, a great producer of tobacco and cigars for generations, transferred tobacco production from Nicaragua to Honduras. With hard work and good production quality, the Camacho brand was, from the 2000s, one of the most renowned brands in the United States. The Oettinger group, owner of many brands including Davidoff, acquired Camacho in 2008. However, the fields are still owned by the Eiroa family today.
