EVENT: LAUNCH OF THE DAVIDOFF YEAR OF THE TIGER IN TEI-AN (NOV. 11, 2021)

There are many events dedicated to cigars and many people who organize such events, but several years ago, when we considered organizing our own event, I wanted it to be quite different.

I imagined an event with good food, interesting drinks and, most importantly, special cigars. Too many events let people leave with bags of cigars, mostly cigars they wouldn't buy. And while this is useful for the organizers, it's not usually the case for the participants.

Times have changed, but the concept of the event has remained in a corner of my mind: a dinner that simultaneously serves as a launch event for one of the biggest cigar releases of a given year.

That's exactly what we'll be doing next Thursday.

We'll be back at Tei-An in Dallas. For those unfamiliar with this restaurant, it's a Japanese restaurant in Dallas that is first and foremost a soba house. While accurate, to call Tei-An a soba house seems disappointing. An award-winning restaurant which serves soba, sushi and other Japanese dishes, as well as offering one of the most extensive ranges of sake and Japanese whisky.

This is the second time we've held a dinner party at Tei-An, but this one will focus on the upcoming Davidoff Limited Edition 2022 Year of the Tigerthe next cigar in Davidoff's Zodiac series. This will be the first opportunity for consumers to taste this cigar before it goes on sale at the end of the month.

In addition, each guest will receive a box of Davidoff Limited Edition 2022 Year of the Tiger (450 $ MSRP) to take home.

Davidoff brand ambassador Shiah Goldberg will be on hand to talk all things Davidoff, including the Year of the Tiger.
